Becoming a commercial pilot is the end game for many learners to who enter our program. Once this is accomplished pilots can start flying for hire and flying cargo. To fly for an airline, in most cases you will need at least 1500 hours in total. But, don’t worry there are many ways to make money along the way.

The duration for commercial pilot can vary quite a bit. Although only 250 hours is required, you will also need to have required solo, cross country and other times.

• 250 total hours of flight time.
• 100 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
• Cross Country of 300 nm with a single leg of 250 nm.
• 10 hours instrument training and 10 hours of complex or TAA training.
